The Advantages of using LED Indoor Garden Lighting

When starting an indoor garden or green house, there are many types of grow lights to choose from. One of the most important decisions that a person can make is the cost and efficiency of installing grow light for your indoor garden. Becoming one of the more popular types of grow lights are the LED grow lights.

LED grow lights are a big investment at first when setting up your indoor garden space. The lights are extremely energy efficient and usually have an overall savings of up to 80% a year on an electrical bill.

LED grow lights use about 20% to 30% less electricity then HID lighting. Unlike traditional greenhouse lighting, an LED grow light lasts a life time. That means no bulbs to change.

The lights come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes such as lamps, a grow panel and even an ufo light shaped like a disk. There are smaller lights that can light up to 5 square feet of plants, to panels that light up an area of 50 feet.
